Job Overview

This position is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced sales manager in the area of power supplies and power systems with electrical engineering background.

The Regional Sales Manager will engage directly with his or her designated customers or through partner channels to achieve sales goals and objectives for the region. In this role, the sale manager will design-in custom, modified standard and standard power solutions, products and services for new and existing customers. This position presents the opportunity for extensive exposure to customer personnel and thus requires excellent relationship building and sales skills as well as product knowledge of both power supplies and power solutions.

We are looking for a self starter to meet Digital Power's aggressive goals and objectives by successfully integrating solutions into our four major market segment: telecom, industrial, military and medical and build long term relationship with our customers and our sales channel.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be successful in negotiating long term agreements and managing ongoing relationships with customers.
  • Have a track record that shows an ability to locate, identify and win design-ins at new customers
  • Set and attain aggressive but achievable sales goals in collaboration with sales channels, direct customers and the Company’s executive management.
  • Provide presentations to customers and sales channel as necessary, and provide strategic overviews to management about his or her territories, growth opportunities, and forecasting.
  • Establish and execute effective strategies and tactical action plans to achieve goals.
  • Collaborate and manage effective relationships with the Company’s inside sales, outside sales channels and direct customers.
  • Provide accurate, timely and realistic  input to executive management on market conditions, competitive analysis, customer needs and  marketing tools requirement

Skill & Qualifications

  • At least 5 years outside sales management experience in a high tech, hardware market segment, preferably in the power solution industry
  • The ideal candidate will have a successful track record selling in a very competitive environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
  • The ability to "self -start" and work independently.
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial sales plan and sales cycle of power systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals and overcome obstacles.
  • Excellent customer service, analytical, organizational, and reasoning skills.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Strong computer skills including but not limited to SAAP, Database, CRM, Office suite
  • Must be a Citizen or a Permanent Resident of United States
